The 8th IAWRT Asian Women's Film Festival will take place in New Delhi from 5 - 7 March 2012.
The event will showcase the works of Asian women directors in a range of genres - animation, documentary, experimental, short fiction and television reportage. The director could be living in any part of the world but should be of Asian origin.
Apart from the general program, there will be three curated sections focusing on women directors from
Hong Kong
Japan
Turkey
A fourth package will be of films about contemporary childhood.
There are no fees for this, but please read about some important instructions with regard to eligibility.

Entry is open to all films completed between 2009 - 2011. Although any cut off dates are not strictly followed, IAWRT India would prefer to screen films made in the last two years so that the selection reflects current concerns and fresh energies.
The deadline for submissions is 30 September 2011. Results will be declared by November 30, 2011.
