As a part of the 9th IAWRT Asian Women's Film Festival, on 5th March 2013, we will have a day long seminar on the experiences, experiments and possibilities of Community Radio in South Asia. The seminar will explore the multiplicity of ways in which individuals, communities, NGOs and Broadcasters have sought to use the medium of radio in conflict situations, for community building and creating awareness about local issues by resisting state control and creating a space for debate and dialogue.
