We would like to share with you that the recent elections of the India Chapter have just been completed and a new team is in place with the following board members:

- Umadevi Tanuku (Treasurer)
- Nupur Basu
- Padmaja Shaw
- Paromita Vohra
- Ratnabali Mitra
- Samina Mishra
The New Board would like to take this opportunity to thank the previous Board (and Jai Chandiram, in particular) for having held the fort for 7 long years. Jai not only began the India Chapter but also initiated the increasingly popular IAWRT Asian Women's Film Festival held every year in New Delhi in March. This is the only festival of its kind in the world.
The New Board would like members to write in with suggestions for activities the India Chapter could undertake and what they themselves would like to volunteer for.
